Teriyaki Steak Tidbits

Teriyaki Steak Tidbits

Maple and meat just go really well together. They do. If you're not convinced, try this easy item that feeds four with leftovers! Take 1.25 pounds of flank steak or skirt steak, cut it into small pieces and marinate it for 30-45 minutes in the following: 1/3 c soy sauce, 1/2 c maple syrup, 1 T honey and 2 tsp of olive oil. Bring a stainless steel saute pan to med-high heat and throw it all in, searing the sides of meat and then lowering the heat to medium. You can add stir-fry veggies if you like, or leave it plain. Maybe make some rice. Cook the steak until it is done to your liking and then enjoy!
